One of those sad accidents that stir up a whole community occurred last Friday about noon. Mrs. Tommy COX and little, and her sister, Miss Nellie DAVIS, were driving in from the country when their team became frightened and began to run. In making the turn at Freemont Reynolds corner the buggy was overturned and the occupants were dragged for a considerable distance over the ground till the horses broke loose and continued their mad flight. The little boy was much bruised and crushed as were also the two ladies. Fortunately no bones were broken, and taken as a whole it turned out much better than could have been expected. All three were bruised and scratched severely and will for days have good cause to remember their unpleasant experience. The buggy was almost a total wreck. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/jackson/newspapers/runawaya230nw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
