Farmer's Car Taken to Country and Dismantled By Thieves. Henry LUTZ, a farmer living east of town, parked his new Ford touring car on south New York avenue Monday night, and attended services at the Christian church. While he was in the church, thieves appropriated his Ford car, drove it to the country and stripped it of every part that could be removed. Jake STOUS discovered the denuded car in the field south of his house early Tuesday morning. He came to twon and reported his find to Sheriff FRAZEY. The officers and Mr. Lutz went out to the Stous farm and indentified the car, or what was left of it. Everything removable, the tires, cushions, top, battery, generator, spark plugs, fan, had been taken. The motor and the frame were not damaged. Following the tire tracks, the officers traced the robbers' car northeast in the direction of Atchison. By replacing the missing parts, Mr. Lutz will have a car again, but he will have to buy nearly half of a car. Unluckily he had not taken out insurance on the car.
