The Holton Recorder, Jackson County, Thursday, March 1, 1900
Mrs. Sarah CARR, sister of Judge I.T. Price and mother of Mrs. A.D. Walker and
Mrs. C.M. Rippeth, died at Washington, City, last Saturday last Saturday
morning. Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Rippeth were present when their mother died. The
funeral and interment was at Leesville, Ohio, the home of Mrs. Carr.

(Note: You will notice the newspaper dated Feb. 22, 1900 had Mrs. Carr listed as
Mrs. KARR.)
