George Delbert CORDON was born at Ontario, Kan., on April 27, 1897, and quietly passed away October 19, 1922, in Kansas City, Mo., at the age of 25 years, five months and 22 days. He was the son of Arthur E. and Mary Cordon, and when but eight weeks old his dear mother was callled home, and at the age of 11 months he ws taken into the home as their own by his uncle and aunt, George and Matie Cordon. There lovingly watched and guarded he grew to manhood. He attended school at Ontario, and was a graduate of the Bancroft (Kan.) High School. Since graduating he has been working in Topeka, Kan., and Kansas City, Mo. He leaves to mourn his loss, his father and sister, Mrs. Blanche CULLINS of St. Frances, Kan., and many other close relatives. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Ontario church conducted by Rev. M.G. Hamm and Pastor R.O. Gilpin. Many friends were present to pay their tribute of love and respect. The pallbearers were James HALL, George KARNS, Garland HUNE, Delmar HUNE, Harold ALLEN and Roy FOWLER, all former schoolmates of the deceased. Burial was made in the family lot in Ontario.
