When just a child her parents moved near Tonica, Ill. She was married to James Wesley INGELS March 29th, 1870, who preceeded her in death May 3rd, 1918. They resided in Illinois until 1873 when they moved to Kansas. To this union were born three daughters and four sons, Jessie Mabell, who died May 13, 1897; Jennie Edith, of Melvern, Kansas; Frank Owen, of Kingsdown, Kans.; Freddie Lewis, who died January 2nd, 1888; Emma Pearl of Kansas City, Kan.; Clyde Wesley, of Melvern, Kan. Besides her children, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Julia GILMORE of Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth SKEELS of Storm Laks, Iowa; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and hosts of friends to mourn her departure. She gave her heart to God when young, and spent the remainder of her life in His service. (Note: Typed as printed in newspaper.)
