Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. MARY ELIZABETH FOLEY, daughter of John and Rachel Gore, born near Rushville, MO 14 Jul 1864 died at her home southeast of Whiting 3 Feb 1940. She was married to George W. Dyer 17 Jun 1883. They had two children. Her husband and children all died in Dec 1888. She married George A. Foley 25 Sep 1892. They had five children: Ralph A. Foley of the home; Mrs. Stella M. Anderson of Frankfort, KS; Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Koehler of Topeka; Mrs. Florence Fern Wright of Whiting; Charles Edgar Foley who died Jan 1914. Survivors include: husband, one son, three daughters; three granddaughters, Verla Anderson of Kansas City, MO, Mrs. Virginia Ewing of Frankfort, KS and Mrs. Naomi Frye of Topeka, KS; three grandsons, Wayne and Wilton Koehler of Topeka and Ronald Ewing of Frankfort; a brother, James W. Gore of Lancaster. Funeral services held Monday in the Methodist church at Whiting; Rev. I. C. Jones officiating. Interment was in the Whiting cemetery.
