HULME, aged 79 years, died last Friday very suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John DECK. He had been a resident here for several years. He was born in England, and at the age of 18 came to this country, first making his home in Illinois, where he was married to Miss Jane HAGLE. To this union was born seven children, three of whom are still living. Mrs. Hulme died thirty-eight years ago. He died possessing the affection and esteem of all who knew him. The funeral services were conducted Sunday morning at 11 o'clock from the M.E. church by Rev. Vernon where a large number of people had gathered to pay their last respects.
