We are compelled this week to announce the death and burial of one of the pioneers of this section. Mrs. Kathren LISTER, who passed away in her old age at the home of her son in Dover, Kansas, on Wednesday, July 27, 1910. She leaves numerous progeny as well as a host of friends to mourn her loss. Six children, forty-two grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Grandma Lister was born in the state of Tennessee in the year 1818, and at time of her death was 92 years and 6 months old. Early in life she united with the Wesleyan Methodist church and remained a faithful and consistent member till the end. Living past life's allotted span, with a fine family she goes hence loved and respected. Burial took place on Thursday, July 28, at the Keene cemetery, Rev.
