As the clock was approaching the hour of 12 on Wednesday, June 1st, the spirit of Mabel Medlock winged its flight to her Maker. This beloved child of Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Medlock was the pet of all who knew her; bright, cheery, a beam of sunshine everywhere. She has gone to heaven to shed a new radiance in the mansions of the blest. Mabel was just past fifteen, but in her short span of life she scattered sunshine with such a prodigal hand that she was almost an angel of gladness to all she came in contact with. The her parents and dear brothers and sisters, the hearts of all our readers well o'er with the sincerest sympathy, for them as well as to the family an irreparable loss is had. Called home in life's spring time, as an angel, she will blossom in that higher sphere beyond the skies. She passed peacefully away, without a struggle at 11:45 on this bright June day. Funeral will take place at the Christian Church in Mayetta, Friday at 10 o'clock. Elder Long officiating, and interment will be in the Denison cemetery. All will drop a tear on the bier of this estimable young life. Schoolmates, old people and young people, all bow their heads in sorrow. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/jackson/obits/m/medlock1884ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
