Louise KLUSMIRE was born near Wamego, Kansas, June 22, 1861, and died at her home in Woodston, September 3, 1922, at the age of 61 years, 2 months and 12 days. She grew to womanhood near Holton, Kansas, where she has many friends and relatives. On March 13, 1894, she was married to Amon L. MEYERS, of Centralia, Kan. To this union were born three children; one dying in infancy, Marcel and Lionel who were at the bedside when she passed away. In the spring of 1905 they moved to Woodston from Centralia and have resided here since, part of the time on the farm southeast of town. She has been in poor health for several years and four weeks before her death she fell and fractured her hip. This caused her so much pain that she was unable to recover and passed away at 7:00 p.m., September 3. She is survived by two sons, Marcel who lives at home, Lionel, who lives on the farm southeast of town, two sisters, five brothers, one grandchild and many friends. For many years she was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Woodston and even in her great pain made determined efforts to be in her place of worship. In her prolonged sickness she ever believed in the power and grace of her Savior and died in the faith. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Braddick of the M.E. church and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Woodston. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/jackson/obits/m/meyers623gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 2.0 Kb
