The Holton Recorder, Jackson County, Thursday, July 12, 1900
Died, at Hoyt, Kan., July 7, of summer complaint, the youngest son, aged one
year, 10 months and seven days, of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman SMITH. The community
manifested their sympathy by giving a large attendance at the funeral on Sunday
at the Baptist church, Rev. Geo. H. Clarke conducting the services.
