The Holton Recorder, Jackson County, Thursday, December 17, 1908
Van WHITCRAFT died Thursday morning and was buried Saturday. Rev. M.G. Hamm
condcuted funeral services at the house and the interment was in the Haas
cemetery four miles west of Holton. The G.A.R. had charge of the funeral.
