The marriage of Miss Edna Louis AYERS to Mr. Edward W. HAWK was solemnized at 3 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, November 29, 1922, at the bride's parent's home, 121 Vermont avenue, Holton, Kansas. Rev. J. M. Manion read the service before the arch which was banked with ferns and palms, with white and pink carnations on each side. The couple entered the room from the open stairway. Hattie AYERS of the Olin School, Kansas City, sister of the bride, played the wedding march. the bride wore a suit of dark blue twill and carried an arm bouquet of sunburst roses. A two-course luncheon was served. Miss Edna Ayers was previously stenograhper for the J.A. Ayers Loan Company. Mr. HAWK is sthe youngest son of Mrs. Emma Hawk of Garden City, Kansas. They left Saturday for Garden City, where they will live on Mr. Hawk's ranch. Mr. and Mrs. Hawk were entertained at a dinner given by Mrs. Emma Hawk, mother of the groom, at the her home in Garden City, with all her children present, Sunday, December 3. Those present were Rev. and Mrs. J.M. Manion, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph FISHER and daughter, Martha of Sabetha, Mr. and Mrs. GIGANDEE and daughter Freda of Onaga, Mr. and Mrs. Walter STEPHENSON and son Willis Clare, Mr. and Mrs. George BRONSON, Mr. and Mrs. Will PORTER, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas GRAHAM, Mr. and Mrs. John ALLEN, Mr. and Mrs. A.A. McKINSEY and children, Galen and Aletha, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. AYERS and daughter Roberta, Miss Hattie AYERS, Miss Emma LINDSAY, Miss Bertha GILLILAND, Miss Ruth VOEKEL, Mr. John HURST, and Mrs. Harriet L.
