J.A. Ferguson, assisted by Rev. S.R. Wallace, Mr. Chase COLE and Miss Margaret R. BENNETT. Some forty guests were present to witness the ceremony and to congratulate the happy couple on their wedding day, besides which there is a very large circle of admiring friends who join in wishing for them a long, prosperous and happy journey together. Mr. Cole was a member of Company A, in the gallant and now famous Twentieth Kansas regiment was was mustered out with the rest in November last. It is evident, however that he esteems this his last engagement as his most notable one, and it is probable that he will cherish this his lates victory as his most important one. He and his bride settle down to pursue the arts of peace on a farm about a mile from her former home and so with the kindly interest of the whole community.
