At the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John BUCHE in Mayetta at high noon on
Wednesday, March 2nd, occurred the quiet home wedding of their youngest
daughter, Anna V., to August C. RELING of Cawker City, Kansas. Rev. T.B. Adell
in his most felicitous manner tying the nuptial knot. Miss Anna is too well
known to all our readers to need any word of praise from ye scribe. Ever
foremost in church and social affairs in our little city. Popular with all her
place in the social spheres and home circle will be a void for time to come.
Loved, honored and respected by all the happy bride bears to her new home the
heartiest good wishes of all Mayetta. The young man to whom she has linked her
fate is one of Cawker City's finest young men, a steady, industrious gentleman
who is bound to rise in the world with such a helpmate. The happy couple will
make their home on a farm near Cawker City where may every blessing attend them
is the wish of the Herald and the host of friends of the bride and groom. Those
attending the ceremony from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Reling, of Cawker
City, father and mother of groom, Misses Bertha and Hermina Reling, sisters of
the groom, Fred Reling, brother of the groom, Mrs. Chas. STOEBER of Cawker City,
Mrs. J. W. MAYES and family of Topeka, Joe A. Buche, Topeka, Mrs. Mary J. COOK
and two daughters, Misses Pearl and Millie, of Mroganville, Kas., Mr. and Mrs.
J.M. GOHEEN, Misses Lula and Nellie LONG, of Mayetta, Rev. and Mrs. T. B. Adell,
of Hoyt.
