Mr.Clifford WADE and Miss Arista DAVIS were quietly married at the Methodist parsonage in Soldier last Friday morning at 10 o'clock, the Rev. R.O. GILPIN officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Davis of Ontario, and has been one of the most successful teachers in this part of the country. She is one of the mose prominent young ladies of our community and is held in high esteem by everyone. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wade of Ontario, Mr. Wade has been relie agent on the Missouri Pacific railway for some time. He is a very prominent young man and is held in high regard by all who know him. The young couple left immediately after the ceremony for Atchison, Kanas City, St. Louis and other points east. They will return Oct. 20 and Mr. Wade will have charge of Blue Rapids station. We cannot but feel that this young couple will make their mark in the work and will bless any community into which they may go.
