On the afternoon of September 4, 1900, a pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Goodrel, seven miles south of Holton when their oldest daughter, Odella, being married to Irvin LONGENECKER, of Franklin township. The ceremony took place at 4 o'clock. Rev. Wm. Youngman, of Holton, pastor of the New Harmony church, officiating. Immediately after the ceremony and congratulations an elegant supper was served to the invited guests. The bride was becomingly attired in white mull and carried bride's roses. Miss Phoebe Heisey played Mendelssohn's wedding march. The young couple received many useful presents. They will go to housekeeping at once east of Hoyt.
