Married, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.O. SCHANTZ, on Wednesday evening, November 1, 1922, Bernice Marie Schantz and Paul FISHER. The ceremony was performed by Rev. R.O. Gilpin, in the presence of the families of the bride and groom. The young couple were attended by a little niece of the bride, Helen THOMPSON, who carried the wedding ring. After congratulations, refreshments were served. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Schantz and has lived all her life in this community. She graduated from the Soldier High school in the class of 1920. She then attended business college for some months in Kansas City, after which she was employed at the Kaul store in Holton, which place she resigned a short time ago. Bernice has always been a popular member of society, school and church activities, and is a young lady of talent and ability. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Fisher. He also is a graduate of Soldier High school and this mariage is the culmination of a school day romance. He is a young man of fine character and is worthy of his charming bride. The young people will make their home on a farm northeast of Soldier.
