The Holton Recorder, Jackson County, Thursday, October 4, 1900
Miss Bertha STANLEY was married to Mr. H.N. HILL, of Belmond, Iowa, Tuesday
morning at 10 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. J.R.
Stanley in this city. Rev. F.C. McKean performed the ceremony and only the
family and a few intimate friends were present. Mr. and Mrs. Hill left on the
noon train for Belmond where Mr. Hill is in business. The bride is a popular
young woman and her numerous Holton friends will join The Recorder in wishing
her joy and happiness.
