They are too dangerous without any safeguard. On Wednesday, Mr. A.E. BLOOMER's mare in Foster's pasture cut her throat on the barbed wire fence as a completely as if it had been done by a knife, killing her. It is said that one of our drug stores is selling "Spiked" lemonade. If this is true it is more disgraceful than the open sale of liquor. We hope it is a base slander.
