While she was in her kitchen washing, John WHITE of the 5th infantry band, stepped in, locked the door, and made improper advances to her. She ordered him out, but he refused. She then told him that she would shoot him if he didn't go. He said, "shoot and d____d." She went into another room, got a pistol and shot him through the heart. The coroner's jury pronounced the act justifiable.
