Miss Mollie GEPHART has returned to her father's house for a merry vacation. Mr. CARSON, of Winchester, passed through here, on his way to Tippinville, on Tuesday. Mr. Jas BATCHELOR is spending a week with his friends. The young ladies are particularily glad. Wonder if the sickness round town is not largely attributable to the stagnant waters. This place has the reputation away from home as being very sickly. The city fathers ought to see to it that the marshes are drained and the health of the community preserved.
