Gerald E. Barnes.
Services for Gerald E. BARNES, 60, of Valley Falls were held Thursday in the
Methodist Church at Valley Falls, with burial in the Vally Falls Cemetery. He
died of a heart attack after his car plunged off the road into a snow bank
Saturday night.
Mr. Barnes was born Ot. 31, 1901, at Meriden. He had lived at Valley Falls for
the past 21 years. 
Survivors include his widow, Juania of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Don BURTON,
Topeka; two sons, Roger Barnes, Kansas City, Kan., and Keith Barnes, Webb City,
Mo., his mother Mrs. Cora Barnes, Meriden, and two grandchildren.
