He was born in McLouth and had lived here for the last 39 years. He was a driver for the American Cab company for 15 years until 1954 when he became a business agent for Teamster's Local No. 587, a post he held until 1959. He was a member of the Gate City Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, the Ararat Shrine and the United Brethren church of McLouth. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maxine C. BOWMAN of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Glendel TYLE, 1613 Northern, Independence; a sister, Mrs. Vera E.
