Clem BRACKEN, 77, departed this life early Saturday morning, October 14 in Parsons, Kansas. He was born Aug. 5 near Williamstwon, Kansas. He was the elder son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John BRACKEN. Clem was united in marriage to Ethel ROELOFSZ. To this union were born nine children--Ray and Donald Bracken, and Mrs. Amy MORGAN, all of Wyoming; Henry of Liberty; Mrs. Ermon McCARTNEY of Oswego, Kansas; Mrs. Marie BLAIR of Angola, Kansas; Mrs. Louis HUGO of Parsons, Kansas; LeRoy and Melvin of Nebraska. He has five brothers and three sisters--Alfred and Fred Bracken of Ozawkie; Mrs. Nellie DUNN of Oskaloosa; Mrs. Luella COTTRELL and Everett BRACKEN of Williamstown; Mrs. Nona SMITH and Ernest Bracken of Lawrence. Preceeding him in death were his father, mother, two brothers, and one sister. Funeral services were conducted from the Asssembly of God Church on Tuesday, October 17. Interment in the Edna Cemetery near Edna, Kansas.
