The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, January 12, 1976
Died.--Saturday evening, January 8, 1876, Stella, only daughter of W.C. and C.E.
BUTTS, aged 3 yrs., 10 mos., and 15 days.
"Whom the Gods love died young."
In their affliction the bereaved parents have the entire sympathy of this
community. Owing to a absence of Mrs. Butts who was visiting her parents in
Adrian, Michigan, the burial will not take place until Thursday.
