The Oskaloosa Independent Jefferson County Saturday February 19, 1876
Asbury CHILCOTE, son of John Chilcote, Esq., suddenly died, at his home in this
place, this (Thursday) afternoon of an illness of but two days, of pneumonia, we
believe. His funeral will take place tomorrow at 2 o'clock P.M., at the M.E.
church. Services by Rev. J.W. Faubion.
