Mrs. Effie W. Conwell.

Mrs. Effie W. CONWELL, 99, of Topeka died April 10. She was born in Kentucky,
April 15, 1854. The family moved to Kansas and she attended the University of
Kansas. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. 
Her father was one of the first doctors in Shawnee County.
Mrs. CONWELL is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Harland BAIRD, Topeka, three
nieces, Mrs. Gayl KUNKEL, Ozawkie, Mrs. Edwin R. BURT, Savannah, Ga., and Mrs.
Walter GREEN, Topeka.
Funeral services were held Monday.
