COOK, of Jefferson Co. Our darling Pearl has gone to rest On the dear Saviours loving breast. Death from her cheek stole the fair bloom And left the casket for the tomb. We laid our Madie in the ground, With fragrant flowers strewed around. But in that brighter heavenily place Shall see our cherub's glowing face.
