Mrs. Eliza FOWLER, who has been sick for some time, died at her home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, of heart trouble and dropsy. Mrs. FOWLER was born in Lawrence county, Ohio, December 27, 1831; was married to Jas. C. FOWLER at Farmington, Iowa, April 3, 1851, and was the mother of eight children, four girls and four boys all of whom are living. Mrs. FOWLER has been in failing health for several months and it was thought a few weeks ago that death was near and her children were summoned and those who could gathered at her bedside. She afterwards improved and was able to be up when she suffered a relapse which resulted in her death.
