The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, October 13, 1877
Died.-William GLENN, of heart disease, aged about 50 years. Mr. Glenn came from
Ohio to this county about a year ago, and has been residing on the Wm. Cowan
farm. He had been troubled with heart disease, and in addition to this took the
chills, which proved fatal. He died Saturday evening last and was buried Sunday
afternoon, Dr. Wilson officiating at the funeral services. He leaves a wife and
two daughters.
