The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, April 20, 1878
Died.-- On Sunday, April 13, 1878, at 2:30 p.m., the residence of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. C.B. McCLELLEN, of consumption, Mrs. Ada HENDERSON, in 27th year.
Deceased was interred in Pleasant View Cemetery, services being conducted by
Rev. Mr. Jennings on Tuesday, 16th, inst., at 2 p.m. Mrs. Henderson has for a
number of weeks known that her end was near, and seemed perfectly resigned to
the will of the Master, making every direction possible as to the funeral,
disposition of her effects, &c. It is comfronting to the many friends here who
have known her from childhood that she died at peace with God and all the world,
and has simply, "gone on before."
