The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, November 3, 1877

Died.--On Saturday, Oct. 27, Mr. F.W. HENLY, aged 60 years. Mr. Henly was one of
our best and most esteemed citizens. He suffered severely and lay for a long
time before death came to his relief. Some days before his death he professed
his faith in Christ and united with the M.E. church. Rev. Titcomb preached the
funeral sermon. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community. The
funeral, on Sabbath, was very large. He was buried at Hull Grove.
