The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, February 16, 1878
Mr. JACQUEMIN, the aged father of George Jaquemin, Esq., living five miles
northwest of town, died very suddenly Monday evening, of paralysis. He had gone
to do the feeding and staying beyond his time, his son George, went to see after
him, and found him in the crib helplessly ill. Take to the house, he died soon
after.
