Gaylord Kunkel.
Gaylord KUNKEL, 87, died July 31, at his home north of Thompsonville in
Jefferson County.
He was born June 20, 1874, near Thompsonville and lived in that community all
his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist Church of Perry.
Mr. Kunkel is surved by his widow, Mrs. Katie Kunkel, and an adopted son, Oscar
McCOY, both of the home; and two daughtgers, Miss Mary Kunkel of Knoxville,
Iowa, and Mrs. Rosalie FARLEY of Edwardsville, Ill.
Services were held Wednesday at the Methodist Church at Perry with burial in Oak
Ridge Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home of Oskaloosa was in charge.
