Thomas W. Lacy Dead.

Thos. W. LACY an old and highly respected citizen of Jefferson county and a
great uncle of the editor of The Times died at the home of his daughter in
Oskaloosa last Thursday night and was bruied on Saturday. The funeral was
conducted by Rev. E. E. McAferty of McLouth.
Mr. Lacy came to Kansas in an early day and for many years lived on a farm
northeast of Oskaloosa. He was 89 years old at the time of his death.
