The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, October 25,1879
 Died, at her home in East Atchison, Mo., of congestion, (date not given) Mrs.
Jennie, wife of J.O. LYON and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. JOHNSON, formerly of
this county, aged 27 years. She leaves behind a husband, two interesting
children and a large circle of relatives, who, tho' sorrowing that she is gone
from earth, yet rejoice that He who doeth all things well hath called her home.
