Glenn Z. May.
Glenn Zachariah MAY was born December 25, 1894 near Williamstown, and departed
this life August 18, 1961.
He was united in marriage to Cassie DICK Feb. 16, 1921. He lived in the
Williamstown community since birth and was engaged in farming until retirement a
few years ago because of ill health. He remained on his farm until death.
Mr. May was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Perry and the Perry Christian
Church. He served on the Williamstown school board for over 20 years.
Besides his widow he is survived by a son Glenn Eugene May of Williamstown,
three daughters, Mrs. Edith BISHOP of Topeka, Mrs. Velma McGARITY of Topeka and
Mrs. Esther THOMPSON of Perry and 11 grandchildren. Also surviving are 2
brothers, Ernest May of Lawrence and Ralph May of Oskaloosa, many nieces and
nephews and a host of friends. 
He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 1 sister.
