Mrs. Adda May McBROOM, 87, RR1, Tonganoxie, died March 28 at the home of a
daughter in Topeka. She was born May 19, 1874 in Chicago, had lived in the
Stanwood Community for the past 52 years and was a member of the Stanwood
Friends Church.
She is survived by her husband, Shelby Wyatt McBroom of the home; a daughter,
Mrs. Evelyn GEISEN, Topeka; three sons, Frank W. McBroom, St. Louis; George S.
McBroom, Tonganoxie, and Charles E. McBroom, Topeka; three grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Friday at 2 p.m. at the Stanwood Friends Church with
burial in the Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
