The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County, Saturday, Saturday September 15, 1875
Jennie, aged seventeen, daughter of Mrs. McGINNIS, editress of the Kingsley
Reporter, was bitten by a rattlesnake, on the 6th inst. and died from the
effects of it next day.
