Mrs. Janette McGUIRE, 50, who had been fifth grade teacher in Oskaloosa the past 3 years, died August 28 in Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She taught school in Jefferson County for the past 27 years. She was born December 10, 1910, Ozawkie. Survivors include her husband Richard; her mother, Mrs. Louise BALLAGH, a twin brother, Julius BALLAGH; one niece, Miss Jane BALLAGH, all of Oskaloosa; and an aunt, Mrs. Rosa ROSS, of San Antonio, Texas. Services were Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Oskaloosa Methodist Church.
