The Oskaloosa Independent, Jefferson County,Saturday,April 24, 1880 
Died.--At the residence of his father, Jas. McKibben, in Rural township,
Jefferson county, Kansas, April 14, 1880, Frank W. McKIBBEN, aged 24 years.
The subject of this notice was born in Washington county, Pa., June 9th, 1855
and came to Kansas the Spring of 1858. The community by his death has sustained
a severe loss, society deprived of a worthy ornament, and his parents bereaved
of a faithful, loving and dutiful son. He was, take him all in all, a young man
of singularly pure and elevated character, and his death leaves a void in our
little circle that will not easily be filled.
