Agnes E. LEECH was born in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, Aug. 8, 1838. She moved
with her parents to Monroe County, Michigan, at which place she was married to
Amos McLOUTH in October 1861. They moved to Jefferson county, Kansas, in
November 1868 and settled on the farm where they have since resided.
She died Jan. 19th, 1907, aged sixty-eight years, five months and eleven days.
She has been a faithful, conscientious Christian and a member of the church for
more than forty years. The funeral took place from the U.B. church on Monday,
Jan. 21st at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. E. E. McAFERTY. The remains were laid
to rest in Wild Horse Cemtery.

Card of Thanks.
I wish in behalf of all my relatives and myself to express our unbounded
gratitude for the many kindnesses and consolations bestowed both night and day
during my wife's sickness and passing to a better world beyond. She was a friend
to everybody, and it does appear to us that everybody is our friend and neighbor
and we desire in return to always be a friend and neighbor to all mankind.
