Mrs. Lily Mae MEREDITH, 89, died Oct. 28 at a Topeka hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Meredith was making her home with a daughter, Mrs. Barbara STEEPER fo 5004 Indian Creek Road, Topeka. Mrs. Meredith was born Jan. 17, 1872, in Clinton, Mo., and came to Kansas as a child. She had lived in Topeka since 1920. She was a member of Oakland Christian Church and of DAV Auxiliary. In addition to Mrs. Steeper, she is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Hazel FOREMAN of 912 Lindenwood and Mrs. Frances SUFFEL of San Jose, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Nita MYERS and Mrs. Elise WILLETS, both of McLouth and Mrs. Zula THOMPSON of Altaville, Calif.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
