Mrs. Alta Mae Newell.
Mrs. Alta Mae NEWELL, 68, of Perry, a longtime resident of Perry and Ozawkie,
died Tuesday evening in a Topeka hospital.
She was born May 1, 1889 in Meriden. She held memberships in the Perry Methodist
Chruch and Perry Home Demonstration Unit.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Perry Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery. The Hampton Funeral Home of Oskaloosa is in
charge of arrangements.
Surviving are the husband, Ray NEWELL of the home; a son, Harold Newell of
Topeka; her mother, Mrs. Ida IVERS of Ozawkie and two grandchildren.
