The Meriden Message 
Jefferson County
Friday
March 7, 1930

Ira OGAN, aged 35 years, died at the Union Pacific hospital at K.C. last
Wednesday and was buried at Meriden cemetery Friday afternoon. His wife and six
children survive him. He has been an enginner on the U.P.R.R. for several years
and was in good health Saturday when at his home in Topeka and was stricken with
spinal meningitis. He was educated in the Meriden schools. The services at the
grave was conducted by the A.F. and A.M. of which he was a member and a short
service by Rev. Troy WARNER of North Topeka.
