William Wayne O'TRIMBLE, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene O'Trimble of Williamstown died early Sunday morning, the result of injuries suffered in an auto accident 1/4 mile west of Williamstown on highway 24. He was a student of the Perry Rural High and would have been a senior next year, he also was active in farming with his father and brothers. Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, Karen Ann of the home and Mrs. Donna BATES, Route 2, Oskaloosa; four brothers, Paul Eugene O'Trimble, Jr., of Williamstown and Robert, Dennis and Michael of the home. Maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Frank BRACKEN of Nortonville and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Bertha HOFFMAN of Nortonville. He was a member of the Perry Christian Church. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Perry Christian Church with Rev. Orville EVANS officiating. Burial was in the Underwood Cemetery at Williamstown. Cooper-Warren of Lawrence was in charge. Pall bearers were: Larry TRIPP, David TENPENNY, Bobby Joe TENPENNY, Charles SUMMERVILLE, Wayne DUNCAN and Thomas HOTCHKISS, Jr. Correction: Perry Mirror-Times, June 22, 1961: In an item in this column last week about the automobile accident in which Wayne O'Trimble was killed it was stated the he was driving a convertiable and that it struck the railing of the bridge where the accident occured. He was not driving a convertible and his car did not strike the bridge railing, according to Mrs. O'Trimble who also stated that the truck did the damage to the bridge. We are sorry for the detail, Mrs. O'Trimble, and extremely sorry that the fatal accident happened.-The Editor.
