Pardee. Laura B., the beloved wife of Mr. Chas. PARDEE died at their home in this city, Sunday morning, Dec. 17, 1893. Laura B. DANIELS was born in Leavenworth, Kansas, Oct. 28, 1862, she was one of a family of six children, two sisters and two brothers survive here. The greater part of her life has been spent in this vicinity. In Nov. 14, 1883 she was married to Chas. PARDEE, who still survives her. She has always been a faithful worker in the church and at the time of her death was a great worker in the Presbyterian Sunday school of this place. Mrs. PARDEE was a prominent member of the Degree of Honor lodge here and was elected its presiding officer for the ensuing year at the last meeting of the lodge. A loving husband, two children, aged 9 and 6 years and a host of friends are left to mourn her loss. Her funeral was held at the Presbyterian church last Monday, the sermon being preached by Rev. W.F. MATTHEWS. The well-filled church and beautiful floweres testified as to the esteem in which she was held by all who knew her. The impressive funeral services at the cemetery were conducted by ! the D.of M. lodge. Card of Thanks.
