Mrs. Alice PATTERSON, 65, of Rock Creek, died Sunday night in a Topeka hospital, following a long illness. She was born at McLouth, Kans., and had lived in the Rock Creek community thirty-five years. Surviving are her husband, George E. Patterson, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. John WADDELL of Topeka and Mrs. Joe SCHWANTES of Winfield; two sons, Edward Patterson of Valley Falls, and Doyle Patterson of the home; two sisters, Mrs. William HAMILTON of Lawrence and Mrs. Guy SLAWSON of Maryville, Tenn.; and ten grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 Tuesday at the Rock Creek United Brethren church.
