RICE, in Topeka, Mrs. Julia G. POTTER, in the 78th years of her age. Mrs. Potter formerly resided in this place and her remains were brought here for interment by the side of the grave of her grandson. She was one of the true women of the world, a genuine christian whose life exemplified the doctrines of Christ and was a light in the world. In all her relations in life, as mother, friend, neighbor, she was worthy of initation, and "none knew but to love her." She had reached a good ripe age, and as "ripe shock of corn," fully prepared for the change, she was "gathered into the garner of the Lord." The loss is all to the friends left behind, the gain is all hers.
